STRESS SENSING BY POLYCYSTIN PROTEINS - ABSTRACT- STRESS SENSING BY POLYCYSTIN PROTEINS CELLS MUST HAVE SPECIALIZED MOLECULAR DETECTORS AND SIGNALING PATHWAYS TO DETECT AND TRANSMIT ENVIRONMENTAL STIMULI RESPOND TO DIFFERENT CUES IN THE ENVIRONMENT.
