CAREER: TOPOLOGICAL QUANTUM DEVICES AS A WINDOW INTO STRONGLY CORRELATED MATTER -NONTECHNICAL SUMMARY A CENTRAL CHALLENGE FOR QUANTUM MATERIALS IS UNDERSTANDING HOW LARGE NUMBERS OF ELECTRONS INTERACT AND ORGANIZE THEMSELVES INTO COLLECTIVE QUANTUM STATES.
